That was a version I fixed a bunch of little compiler warnings in,
updated the debian build, autoconf and a few other things in. It
should work. I didn't update the version number. I've been waiting
on a new pilot-link to continue with this.

I've been waiting on a new pilot-link to continue with this. much thanks for this clarification. Now I understand "fixes were made", but Version is the same.

Would that mean, that the only way for "update" is? :
sudo apt reinstall jpilot jpilot-plugins

I still often have crashes while syncing with my Palm Treo 680 [1]. Is it thinkable, that your compiler warning fixes may enhance my experience?

Hi Ulf,

Yes, re-install or remove/install. Yes, it is absolutely possible that
this version could fix your crashes or make it or something else worse.
I would recommend testing it.

These packages were built for Ubuntu 26.04 so they probably won't work
for you. I just wanted people to try them and make sure I didn't break
anything. When I get a new release of pilot-link I can build them for
Ubuntu 22, 24 and 26 and maybe something else if needed.
