Usually I sync my TX when a change or new entry has been made and I back
it up weekly. But, I've been busy and haven't kept to this schedule.
When I tried to backup the handheld using the USB sync port that's worked
for a long time it failed. So did killing the jpilot process, reloading it,
and trying to back up the handheld.
What's worked with the TX and previous handhelds is to press the button on
the handheld end of the cable, then quickly click on the sync/backup button
on jpilot. I'll hear the few notes telling me the two units are
communicating, then the sync or backup occurs.
Today, nothing. When I pressed the cable button again the TX displayed
'identifying user' and continued to do nothing.
How do I identify the source of this problem so I can fix it?
TIA,
Rich
