I have tried to follow the directions from Jon and Judd but have not
been successful. Do I have to install all the list from the Change Log
or are they installed following the other step by step instructions.
Each time I have tried, I have done a clean install of the iso so as not
to screw something up. I must be missing one or more steps to get a
clean install of jpilot. I will keep trying as I see new info in your
emails.

I create a PPA on packagecloud and the easiest way to install it now is:

curl -s
https://packagecloud.io/install/repositories/judd/jpilot/script.deb.sh
| sudo bash
sudo apt install jpilot jpilot-plugins
