Hello:

Sorry to bring this up at the list but I have asked here and received no reply.

I have (only) recently noticed that my email address is visible to anyone (even without logging in), this in spite of the My profile/Global preferences being set to hide it.

I cannot find where or how to fix this.

Anyone know how to solve this issue?

Thanks in advance.

Best,

JHM

Hi Julius,

I found a setting that says to hide your email from the list roster.  I
don't think this is what you were asking for and if you want to me
change it back let me know.

I assume you are talking about in the list archives.  I can't find a
setting for this.  Perhaps it is because you have a CC set for the email
or you use just an email address with no name?

Your emails are the only ones that I see that are from "{your name} via
Jpilot jpilot@lists.jpilot.org"  Do you know why?

You can reply in private if you'd prefer and I will try to help.

Yes, I think that’s the setting he’s referring to.  It doesn’t work for me either.  Whether enabled or disabled makes no difference when responding from the web site roster.
