Hello:

After fixing the previous problem I had with my Tungsten T|X, I now have another:

All my databases with the sole exception of my address list is gone.

Memos, Calendar, To.Dos, etc. gone.

I have it in backups thanks to Timeshift but I'm at a loss as to what to restore to the .jpilot folder.

A full restore may bring back the issues I had previous to this one, so it would have to be
everything but the address stuff.

Any advise will be greatly appreciated.

TIA,

Just install the apps and databases that you need.

CalendarDB-PDat.pdb
ContactsDB-PAdd.pdb (you said you don't need)
MemosDB-PMem.pdb
TasksDB-PTod.pdb

You can also use pilot-xfer -i to install things, whichever is easier.

If you have files with the ".pc3" extension then those are unsynced
records that may or may not cause you grief.

Well, that's not good.

I have it in backups thanks to Timeshift but I'm at a loss as to what to
restore to the .jpilot folder.

Any advise will be greatly appreciated.

Look at your TX. If it says the OS is >5.0 change the settings to use the
newer versions: Contacts (instead of Addressbook), Calendar (instead of
Datebook), and Memos (instead of Memo32.)

Don't know if that's part of the problem, but it certainly should not do any
harm.
