Hi All,

Is anyone experiencing this behaviour? Sometimes i get a valid sync
with my Palm, sometimes it just sits there looking stupid and eventually
times out with the following message:

    dlp_OpenConduit() failed
    Exiting with status SYNC_ERROR_OPEN_CONDUIT
    Finished

This is accompanied by the usual PalmOS connection lost message.
 Whenever i run jpilot-sync manually, it works fine every time.

I'm using a Palm M105 with minimal added applications (just Keyring and
BibleReader). The host PC is an Athlon XP 1800+, 512 Mb RAM, Red Hat
8.0. I get this behaviour on 0.99.2 (Red Hat stock build) and 0.99.3
(compiled from source). The pilot-link version is 0.11.3-3. The Palm
connection is a standard serial hot sync cradle.

Any help would be appreciated. The usual Google searches for that error
message turned up only one hit, which was a patch file posted to this
list in August.
