pi-bind...sorry if this is a repeat

wow, thanks Gwen and Joe  and Steven,
i was having the problem 

pi_bind Invalid argument
Check your serial port and settings
exiting with status -10

and i did the following on your advise, and hotsync
works fine now...

chmod a+rw /dev/ttyS0
ln -s /dev/ttyS0 /dev/pilot
